Cambridge 15" Swing Arm Wall Lamp - Plug In/Wall Mount

Lovely lamp. Purchased for bedside so I wouldn’t have a lamp taking up space on my night stand. Wonderful price and quality.

Lovely lamps if you are mechanically inclined and have additional screws. These lamps look wonderful on the wall and work well for exactly what I needed them to. The directions wet somewhat lacking. They show how everything goes together but the screw situation was a challenge. The mounting plates have holes that are machined for one of the screws, but not the other type. Because I was screwing directly into the studs, I used the wood screws, but they were not long enough to go through the plate and the drywall into the studs, so I had to 1. Use my own screws. 2. Drill the holes larger so I could get them through the plate. Even if I were using the enclosed screws, I would still have to drill the holes larger in order to use them. If you have that ability, this might be the lights for you. They look excellent They are a wonderful price. You can use the enclosed wire covers or not. I opted for not, but they could make things sleek. They seem enjoy they will work really well long term. I saw that they are designed to stay sturdy even when fully extended and I feel that is accurate having assembled them. I would buy them again, but if you need something with excellent step by step directions and don’t have extra screws to use, this might not be for you.

Very well made with 3-way light bulb (not included) up to 150 watts. However, get better wall anchors to install lamp to wall.

Very easy to assemble. (We are using the plug in feature) It looks fantastic and such a wonderful price when you consider the inclusion of the cord covers. The shades are a wonderful quality but the color is more brown than linen and they are much brighter than expected even with a three way bulb. I dyed some flour sack towels to place over them when we want it dimmer and that solves the issue. They are fantastic for reading! I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend them.

The installation hardware is poorly designed. Had to open the holes in the mounting plate for the screws provided to pass through the plate and be able to screw into the wall. The screws were flush installations but the plate was not countersunk for the screws, Cap screws would be better. Also the nut provided to attach the lamp to the mounting plate was not threaded deep enough, had to use my own self locking nut. I don't enjoy the mounting hole pattern. It will not carry the load of the attached lamp very well. I made this all work but certainly did not expect to have to make the workarounds. this lamp will fulfill our application but not confident it is very robust design.
